- Can I
study at my own pace?
Yes. Students, due to the changes in their life circumstances, have taken longer to complete the
Course. You can start at any time of the year and then you will receive a Lesson unit every two weeks. If you fall
behind with your studies you can ask us to hold the lessons for a period of time.
- Do I have to buy and read
lots of books?
It is up to you. You receive a recommended book list of source information and details of your local
Anthroposophical library and bookshops. Your student card entitles you to considerable discounts at these bookshops. Some
of the Steiner references are available online.
- How do I meet other people who study Anthroposophy, Steiner
Education, Therapies, Arts or Biodynamic (BD) farming ?
We send you contact details enabling you to be
put on mailing lists for newsletters in your area. These will inform you about seminars, workshops, performances, talks, art
classes and study groups.
- Are there any artistic activities in the course?
Yes – painting lessons
(with examples of colour pictures), sculpting work, speech exercises and eurythmy exercises all form part of the course.
An artistic activity is given with each lesson forming an introduction to various arts.
- Can I work on my own
or in groups?
It depends on you but in many cases it can help if you have an interested partner or friends who want to
join with you in studying (see discount for a group of six or more participants).
